plates tectonics

The theory of plate tectonics was introduced in the 1960s to explain how the Earth's plates move and to provide some understanding as to how volcanoes, earthquakes.

Seismic waves are the waves of energy inside the earth. This is an evidence to prove the theory of plate tectonics true. There are three main types of seismic waves. First, P-waves are the primary waves, which travel back and forth .  S-waves , which travel up and down, and can travel through in rocks. and then L-waves moves everywhere. Seismic waves help lot to change the environmental .
continental plate, which is found under the solid land surface. The other one is oceanic plate, which is found under the ocean water. Plate boundaries are the place, where big movements happen. There are three types of plate boundaries.Convergent boundaries are formed when boundaries move together. Divergent boundaries are formed when boundaries movie a part from each other. Transform boundaries are formed when two boundaries slide by each other.
Fault is an example which shows that Plate tectonic theory is true. Normal faults happen when one side moves downwards. Reverse faults happen when one moves up. Strike-slip fault happen when both surfaces slide with each other. Faults have change our earth in a big way.
I agree with plate tectonic theory, because of the examples I used above. this shows that earth has changed over time. and it shows how the earth work with different types of boundaries etc.
